The disengageable blade system consists of separating the blade from the engine whilst ensuring it is braked.
Thanks to this system, the drive of the lawnmower is separate from the rotation of the blade.
That allows you to move the lawnmower with the engine running and the blade stopped whilst using the drive function to:

• cross a gravel path
• take the lawnmower to the place where you empty the grassbox
• move and load the lawnmower onto a trailer without having to push it

No more stopping and restarting all the time!
For greater safety, restarting the blade is a double action.

Today the disengageable blade system is a feature on many lawnmowers.
