In all order to meet all your needs depending on the slope of your land or its surface area (see also Tips on using the search engine), Outil Wolf offers two types of engine with different advantages.
The economical and ecological solution (small and medium-sized surfaces)
Outils Wolf's electric lawnmower motors offer numerous advantages: instant starting, considerable energy savings, limited maintenance and long service life.

The economical and ecological solution (small and medium-sized surfaces)
Outils Wolf's electric lawnmower motors offer numerous advantages: instant starting, considerable energy savings, limited maintenance and long service life.
Outils Wolf uses two types of electric motor:
- The universal motor (for tools only): its advantages lie in its small dimensions and easily adjustable rotation speed
- The asynchronous motor (fitted on lawnmowers): more powerful and more effective than the universal motor. As there are virtually no wear parts in this motor, its service life is also much longer than that of universal motors.

4-stroke engines with oil sump
The solution for high performance (medium-sized and large surface)
These engines come in four architectures:
NB: For reasons of legal compliance with European standards on pollution, noise and vibration levels, 2-stroke engines are tending to disappear from the market.
These engines come in four architectures:
- side-valve engines, which are suited to most types of terrain.
- overhead valve engines (OHV)
- overhead cam engines (OHC)
- are more energy efficient thanks to better combustion
- are more powerful and tougher; they enable you to mow land with a strong slope (up to 30° or 58%).
- allow easy starting by a reduction in compression.
