Choice of fuel and storage
The 4-stroke engines that equip Outils WOLF petrol lawnmowers run on lead-free petrol, octane 95 and 98.
It is preferable to use lead-free 95 as it is better suited to the low compression ratio of this type of engine.
In all cases, use only recently purchased fuel (less than 1 month old) and store in an appropriate jerrican. Fuel altered by being kept for too long can cause major difficulties in starting the engine.
The addition of a dose of Outils WOLF fuel preservative (reference ZY739) will enable you to keep the fuel for up to 6 months.
