Maintaining your lawn all year round

Details of the different operations
Eliminate moss by spraying a moss killer on the areas concerned.
Scarify when the ground is damp, then pick up the moss and waste.
Mow one third of the height of the blades of grass when the grass grows to more than 4 to 5 cm. In summer and the last time you mow in autumn, set the cutting height one notch higher.
Reseed and roll : reseed any bare patches, then spread a fine layer of compost over the seed.

Pass the roller over the lawn to increase the contact between the seed and the soil and keep the lawn flat.
Fertilise the law by spreading a special lawn fertiliser, then water regularly.
Remove weeds by hand or use a selective herbicide (always on damp ground).
Water copiously and evenly, preferably in the evening.
Clean the lawn picking up any broken branches, pine…Mark out the outline of the lawn again. In autumn, pick up the dead leaves.
Deal with destructive pests (ants and moles) using a suitable treatment. Flatten mole hills with a rake.
