What is mulching?
Mulching is an excellent alternative to traditional mowing if you want to avoid having to deal with grass clippings. The principle consists of chopping the grass into fine particles which are deposited directly on the ground: there is no more grass-box to empty or clippings to take to the tip.

Outils WOLF's M53I mulching lawnmowers enable you to mulch in any season, from the first to the last time you mow your lawn, even when it is covered with dead leaves.
Good mulching is invisible. Thanks to the suction and blowing principle used in Outils WOLF mulching mowers, the chopped grass clippings are deposited directly on the ground (and not on top of the grass as with most mulching mowers). Thus the sun can get through and the particles deposited (which consist of 90 % water) integrate into the soil feeding it at the same time, without suffocating the lawn.
The WOLF mulching system consists of a closed deck and a dual function blade (cutting and chopping) with the following specific features:

- optimum deck height
- a blade profile that is the result of Outils WOLF's know-how. The body of the blade is that of a traditional Outils WOLF known for its cutting qualities, thanks to the finned profile which allows optimum suction of the grass. As well as this system, the blade features a raised cutting part for chopping the grass. With the cutting height adjustable to within a mm, mulching with Outils WOLF is perfect whatever the mowing conditions (long, wet grass, nature and density of the grass ...).
